Coke Bust

Short, fast and loud - just what suits me for the past couple weeks. And for the past couple days i've been listening that kind of band. Coke Bust is a DC hardcore band. Formed in 2006 and since than had a bunch of tours. In download section you'll also see a bunch of record issues. My favorites are Lines in the sand LP and latest Degradation EP. From record to record they've gotten faster, tighter, louder and how I've heard and been able to see on youtube they kick ass at live shows. You lucky ones don't miss them in your town. Now get busy downloading and start listening them right away.

Slobs

Canadians seems to amaze every time. So did that a relatively new band called - Slobs. If this means anything to you, some members are from Montreal based hardcore band Omegas and besides that Omegas vocal Hoagie Skank is their number one fan, so they say. Slobs discography consists of their Demo from 2009 (reissued on 7'' and along with T-shirts available here) and their latest EP "Look busy, do nothing" on Cowabunga Records. Check this snotty Canadians.P.S. Thanx to Dario for showing me this.:)

"SLOBS don't like you. SLOBS don't hate you. SLOBS don't care. SLOBS have braces. SLOBS pick their nose on the bus. SLOBS mumble when they have to speak to you. SLOBS ...aggabah...aggabah. SLOBS are punk band by default because it's to hard to play fancy solos, to annoying to dress up like an asshole and far too stupid to even try to impress anybody."

The Boston Strangler

Girl from Poland contact me today and told me to check out band called Boston Strangler consisted of members from Social Cirkle, Mind Eraser and Rival Mob. First track Outcast blew me away instantly. Bands like Impact Unit and Last Rights popped into my head. Hell yeah, cause this band continues what bands like Negative FX, Deathwish and DYS was trying to tell us. It's been a long time since some band caught my attention like this one did. Let this 5 raging and straight to the point tracks do the same to you. Get back to the Boston roots.

I Exist

My sister, yeah the one that's too lazy to write a post and actually justify the participation in blogspot community accurately this particular Chainsaw Pop showed me this following band.
I Exist are seven Aussies playing sludge hardcore and are probably the best band i've heard of that genre and that's not a EXAGGERATION. I Exist discography contains an LP I: A turn for the worse from 2010 and Bad romance split w/Phatoms from this year. LP is a pure gem. Check this: [The weak shall fall] [The Temptress] [A-Bomb blues]
[Bonus track - cover of Sleep's Dragonaut] Here's bands web-store with some awesome T-shirts. I want this one.
For all Australians and other who might find themselves there here's a list of I Exist events.
Don't miss it. And others
don't you dare miss this band.

Low Threat Profile

Well 2011. started and I finaly found the time to post some new stuff. And they are verbatim new, released this year. I'm talking about Low Threat Profile, a band called powerviolence dream team one because of creme de la creme members, Math from Infest, Andy from No Comment and Bob of Lack of Interest. Can it be any better? Guys first stunned us with their first release in 2009, The Product #1 7'' with short and blazing 11 tracks. Just listen my favorite one [The Product] This year was time for The Product #2 in LP attire. Killer ones are Cross my heart and [Back to basics] On their myspace you can read that The product #3 was recorded this summer and going to be out by 2020. Definitely looking forward to it. Anyway for Infest and etc. fans i'm sure you already put this for download, others do the same cause you need this band to smash your bedroom walls.:)

The best of 2010!

Extortion live by DanPurnell

End of year is coming and i've decided to put up a post with my favorite releases of 2010. I think there's not that many as it were in 2009 but when I think about it it's a solid number. I'm gonna put it randomly cause I can't decide which release is better and which worse. Check my list and feel free to put yours in comment. So let's see!

Burning Love - Song For Burning Lovers LP (Canada)
It's already said and done here. If someone haven't heard of them it's 'bout time. These Canadians rule in so many levels you can't even imagine. Favorite tracks: [Destroyer of the worlds]

Lets Grow/Jaibo! Split LP (Serbia)
Yummy, yummy and yummy.Let's Grow is definitely my favorite Serbian band and even though they put up "new clothes" they amazed me AGAIN. Jaibo! side also kicks cause they've taken some RKL drugs. Long waited split was surely worth of waiting. Here you can check out my LG post with old stuff.Favorite tracks LG [Can(t), Tired,Huge and silent] and Jaibo! [Numskull]

Heratys - S/t LP and Helvettiin Ja Takaisin 7'' (Sweden)
After I listened this record over and over I always remained speechless. More on these fuckers read here. Extra is their last 7'' release that is also a killer.Favorite tracks: [Ei Saatana] [Pelkkδδ Pahoinvointia] [Verenpunainen Huominen] [Hieman Hajallaan]

Black Breath - Heavy Breathing LP (USA)
Not long ago i've decided, after everyone was talking 'bout this amazing new album of band Black Breath, to finaly give them a chance. It's not the style I usually listen and worship but hey I'm open mined to almost every genre, and this particular simply amazed me. Perfect from first to last track. Hoping to see more from these guys soon. Read this interesting review of their new album. Favorite tracks: [Virus] [Fallen] [Unholy Virgin]

Brutal Knights - Blown 2 Completion LP (Canada)
One more Canadian dudes did it again. I've already posted them here so check my thoughts of their new album. Favorite tracks: [Summertime Coffee] [Take Breaks]

Extortion - Losse Screws 10'' (Australia)
Tight band, tight record and the awesomest cover art. Hardcore/powerviolence from Perth. In the near future I will give you their past releases to download. Favorite tracks: [Blindspot] [Kill the lights] [Faulty Wiring]

Citizens Patrol - S/t LP (Netherlands)
After a demo and two EP's they finaly put out an LP record. Speed and trash on a higher level. Get to like the new record on a first listen. Favorite tracks: [Social Skills] [Domestic Disturbance]

Junk Messiah - The Path of the Snake LP (Croatia)
To be honest when I first listened their live record from Dravograd I disliked it,but then year 2010 came and so their first official LP The path of the Snake. "Main music influences would be The Rites having sex with Vaseline Children while listening to Black Flag and AC/DC". Here you can contact them. Nice blog with all of their interesting stories from tours and so. Favorite tracks: [Going down with the smile] [Sick of you, sick of me] [Not getting better]

Petnaesti Čeh - Promo (Croatia)
I remember it was April of 2010 when I first heard this Promo CD. Two of my friends got crazy cause I played it like 10 times over and over in one afternoon. Anyone who adores female fronted hardcore this is it! Croatian new hardcore hopes since 2008. Favorite tracks: [Danijelova mržnja]

Pasmaters - Unload your Pain LP (Croatia)
I always adress this band as one of my favorite Croatian ones and they sure confirmed it with the new album. '80s American hardcore on Croatian way. You just need to hear their cover of Negative Approach - Can't tell no one. Pure gem. Favorite tracks: [Crni snijeg(Generali cover] [Lies] [Hardcore] Download whole album here.

Nonsense - Propast LP (Croatia)
Well as you can see this is very fertile hardcore year for Croatia cause there's one more. I already wrote about this band and posted their first album for dowload. Definitely a band that will be a classic one day. Favorite tracks: [Distort Balkan]

Confines - Withdrawn EP (USA)
Last but not least their are Confines. Already wrote 'bout them in previous post where I uploded their Demo. I think there's a bright future for them if they continue to release records like this one. Favorite tracks: [Withdrawn]

Wasted Time

Guess my posting mode is on higher level today cause i'm bringing one more band. I was planing to put them months ago, today I listened them after long time and thought well it's about time to introduce them to you. Hailing from Richmond,Virginia listen what Maximum Rock'n'roll says about these guys: "It makes Adolescents sound like Good Riddance, makes Minor Threat sound like Fugazi. This isn't 80's hardcore revival it's 80's hardcore removal..." Haha harsh harsh, but I think when you listen them you'll see this "review" contains more truth than a lie. Almost every review I read about these guys were full of praises. With no doubt they define 00's hardcore. Give them a shot!
